Blink-182 Premieres New Song “Happy Days” on Apple Beats 1
American rock band Blink-182 premiered a new song “Happy Days” on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 Radio show.
The song is the third single off of their upcoming 8th album “Bojmir” and on the annual “Blink-182 Day,” which coincides with the 182nd day of the year.
Bass guitar Mark Hoppus told Zane Lowe about song “It’s about coming from a place of frustration and angry and saying… ‘I want to go to better times, I want to go to a better place and I’m gonna leave all this nonsense behind and just find my zone.'”
The new album is called "Bojmir", which is “rim job” spelled backwards, and they’re pronouncing it with a silent “j.”
“It sounds like some cool sparkling water. It sounds boujee,” drums Travis Barker said. They also discussed using the title Pretty Nuts at one point.- ahgkSf8qCd4
The band worked with Lil Uzi Vert, Pharrell Williams and the Neptunes on the new album. Mark Hoppus said, “I see it a lot in the stuff that I work on outside of Blink. People are just putting out songs, they put out singles, and that’s kind of even how we’re approaching this album. There’s not really a cutoff point. It’s just a matter of what makes the album, but we’re going to continue writing and just have a library of songs so we can just keep releasing music.”
Blink-182 are currently embarked on a co-headlining tour with Lil Wayne. Learn more about tour dates, click here.- source : Apple Beats 1
