Valerie Broussard & Lindsey Stirling Drop New Music Video for “Deeper”
Back in February, American singer-songwriter Valerie Broussard joined in Norwegian DJ Kygo's “Think About You”.
After the release of the song, she signed to his Palm Tree Records imprint via RCA.
Earlier April, she teamed up with American violinist Lindsey Stirling as the next collaboration to release a new song “Deeper”.
“[The song] is about the experience of having someone close to you battle with mental health or addiction problems,” she reveals. “[It’s] about saying to someone ‘you can push me away all you want, I will not give up on you.’ It’s about standing firm for someone because you know they would do it for you. Most importantly it’s about knowing that mental health is much like physical health, that those who are affected cannot help it.”
The song will appear on her upcoming EP (yet-untitled), which will be released this summer. "I'm trying not to focus too much on these sort of immaterial, awards-type things, and think more about the experiences that I really want," she explains.- source : Idolator
