Solange Drops New Music Video for “Way to the Show”
Back in March, American singer-songwriter Solange released her fourth studio album “When I Get Home” for the first time in three years.
Form the album, she dropped a new music video for “Way to the Show” on April 1st. Directed by Solange Knowles herself.
The song was written and produced by Solange, and John Key and John Carroll Kirby contributed production as well.
Also, as a director, she crafted the 33-minute film for the new album. It was inspired in part by the devastation of Hurricane Harvey in Houston.
"The film is an exploration of origin, asking the question how much of ourselves do we bring with us versus leave behind in our evolution,” she said in a statement. “The artist returned to Third Ward Houston to answer this.”- source : Paste Magazine
