Clean Bandit Premieres New Music Video for “Mama” featuring Ellie Goulding
Back in November 2018, British electronic trio Clean Bandit released their second album "What Is Love?" for the first time in four years.
The album features guest appearances from Demi Lovato, Marina and Luis Fonsi, Rita Ora, Julia Michaels and Big Boi, among others.
From the album, the band released “Mama” as a new single with accompanying music video, directed by Clean Bandit.
The song features British singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding.
The video draws the 45th president of the United States, Donald Trump. In the clip, the character slow-dances with his wife on a floor boasting the slogan “Damaging Our Children Can Damage the Entire World.”
"We wrote this script about a boy whose power was taken away from him as a child and he grew up determined to take that power back," singer Grace Chatto said of the video in a press release. "We directed it ourselves and we found it to be a really interesting experience."
The track was written by Jack Patterson, Grace Chatto, Jason Evigan, Ellie Goulding and Caroline Ailin.- source : Rolling Stone
