Alice Merton Premieres New Song “Learn to Live”
German-Canadian-English singer-songwriter Alice Merton released her debut album "Mint" on January 18, 2019.
From the album, “Learn to Live” was released before a couple days ago with the accompanying music video.
The song is the first track of the album and was written by Nicolas Rebscher and Alice Merton.
The album comprises of 11-track including previously included "No Roots" and "Lash Out" from the EP "No Roots", and "Why So Serious".
“The studio I work at is in Berlin, so it wasn’t always easy doing that. We’d have two months of shows in the U.S., [then] I’d fly back for five days to be at the studio in Europe and then go back to touring,” Merton told Billboard about the album. “The writing happened a lot during touring, and even before we knew it was going to be an album.”
She will embark on MINT Album Tour 2019 in the UK and Europe in March and April. Alos she will appear on Coachella Music and Arts Festival for the first time in Indio on April 14. The event features, Ariana Grande, Dipolo, Janelle Monae, Khalid, Zedd, CHVRCHES, Billie Eilish, The 1975 and DJ Snake, among others.
