Lykke Li Performs “better alone” and “bad woman” at YouTube Music Studio Stockholm
Last December, Swedish singer-songwriter Lykke Li revealed the live video for “better alone” and “bad woman”, which were recorded at the YouTube Music Studio Stockholm.
Both songs are included on her fourth studio album "So Sad So Sexy", which was released last June and is her first LP in four years.
“better alone” was written by Illangelo, Ilsey Juber and Lykke Li. This song is about being with someone but having a sick feeling of being alone.
“bad woman” was written by Malay, Ilsey Juber, Rick Nowels and Lykke Li. She said of the song, "I mean, for me nothing is hard when I’m writing it but definitely when I listen to it. It was actually Jeff [Bhasker] who pointed out the chorus needs to be “I’m a bad woman,” even though that’s the verse, that’s the core of the song. When I heard it that time, it broke my heart. It was almost like hearing someone else write a song exactly how I feel."
She will perform live at Firefly Music Festival in Dover on June 23, at Pohoda Festival in Trencin on July 11 and at Hyde Park in London on July 13, 2019.
