Josh Wood Premieres New Music Video for “Radio (You and I)”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Josh Wood premiered a new music video for “Radio (You and I)” directed by Jake Wilson.
The song was released on August 14th following the debut single "Walls" and will appear on his forthcoming 8-track EP.
The sound is radio friendly and electronic house-pop with middle tempo.
The video is inspired from 1999 classic video Destiny's Child “Say My Name”.
Josh Wood told Billboard about the video:
"Jake and I both obsess over late '90s R&B, and we wanted to reflect the different moods when you change the radio, so we thought about "Say My Name" -- the four color schemes, the posing on each beat -- it fit the energy of "Radio" perfectly.
I definitely channeled my inner Beyonce."- Josh Wood moved to Los Angeles after graduation of Whittier College and has written for several independent and label projects, worked with major publishing companies. Most recently, he has served as a casting producer for both American Idol and The Four.
In 2017, he started to write the songs for his debut EP, which will be released later in 2018 or early 2019. - source : Billboard
