The Band CAMINO Premieres New Song “Daphne Blue”
American rock band The Band CAMINO has released a new song “Daphne Blue”. The song was premiered exclusively on Billboard.
The band first performed the song at Live at Rib Fest Chicago 2018 back in June.
The song is the second single of the 2018 following "Fool of Myself". The track reminds us of TOTO.
The band said of the song;
"Spencer [Stewart, one of the band's members] had been playing that main guitar part for years -- it had essentially become our designated soundcheck riff. We’d been wanting to write a 'punch you in the face' guitar-driven rock song for a while and one day our manager heard Spence playing the riff at a rehearsal and was like 'Wait a minute... What is that? Why haven’t you guys written a song around this?' and two days later we sat down and wrote 'Daphne Blue.'"- The Band CAMINO consists of Jeffery Jordan (guitar & vocals), Spencer Stewart (guitar & vocals) and Graham Rowell (bass).
The band debuted in 2016 with the first EP "My Thoughts On You". In 2017, the second EP "HEAVEN" was released.
The Band CAMINO will kick off a headline tour on August 21st in Athens, GA at the Georgia Theater. The tour will conclude Pavilion at the Toyota Music Factory on November 17th.
