Shenna Premieres New Song “Conversation” on SoundCloud
New York-based singer-songwriter Shenna Somsmieh, aka Shenna has released a new song “Conversation”, following previously released “Magenta”.
The song was premiered exclusively on Pop Dust. It was written by Austin Bello and Shenna Somsmieh.
Back in April, she first performed the song on Paste Magazine Live session in New York.
She said of the new song;
"I wrote this song because I feel that a lot of times people avoid telling someone they care about the truth, afraid they will hurt them but in reality it's hurting both sides by not having a real personal conversation to hash out problems."-
Originally, she debuted as Shenna Somsmieh in 2011. But she changed the stage name to Shenna and released a debut EP “Dream In Color in 2014.
Her debut album "Made Of Gold" was released in 2016, and three songs from the album were featured on Orixgen's "The Bad Girls Club" 2016 season.
Also the song “Made Of Gold” from the album was used in Netflix's film "Miss Stevens". - source : Pop Dust
