From First To Last Premieres New Song “Surrender” on SoundCloud
American DJ Sonny John Moore, aka Skrillex reunited former band From First to Last last year and released the first song "Make War", which featured Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
On July 23, the band delivered a new song “Surrender” via SoundCloud. The song was premiered last December at L.A's emo night.
It was written by Derek Bloom, Travis Richter, Matt Good and Skrillex.
From First To Last was formed in 1999. Currently member consists of Sonny Moore (lead vocals), Matt Good (lead guitar), Travis Richter (rhythm guitar), Matt Manning (bass), and Derek Bloom (drums).
Sonny Moore left the band in 2007 and released a solo EP "Gypsyhook" in 2009 under his own name. Sonny Moore debuted the EP "My Name Is Skrillex" as Skrillex in 2010.- While, the band entered a hiatus in 2010, after Travis Richter left the band. In 2013, the band re-formed, with Periphery vocalist Spencer Sotelo as the new lead vocalist and released their fifth album "Dead Trees" in 2015.
But Spencer Sotelo departed the band in 2016, Skrillex rejoined the band in January 2017.
The band is currently working on their sixth studio album. Skrillex teamed with Ty Dolla $ign and Damian Marley on “So Am I,” and with DJ Sliink and Wale on “Saint Laurent.” - source : Rolling Stone
