Cash Cash Premieres New Music Video for “Finest Hour” featuring Abir
New York-based Electronic production trio Cash Cash teamed up with Morocco singer-songwriter Abir for a new song “Finest Hour”.
The song was released on April 13 and written by ABIR, Jean Paul Makhlouf, Samuel Frisch and Alex Makhlouf.
The track is the second single of the 2018 following "Jewel" with Nikki Vianna.
Both artist dropped a new music video for the song on July 19, directed by Phillip R Lopez.
Cash Cash said of the song in an interview with Papermag;
"To us 'Finest Hour' is about when you lose control at some point, when things aren't working out as planned. Maybe it's not getting that promotion, or getting fired, or losing someone. This song is about realizing that it's just not your finest hour and not a true reflection of who you really are. Acknowledging that can help you heal back to the person you truly are and get you back on the path you belong on."
ABIR added;
'"Finest Hour" is about reaching a breaking point and owning it. Everyone has days where nothing seems to go right but recognizing that it's just a moment and shit happens is what's most important."- Cash Cash currently consists of three DJs: brothers Jean Paul Makhlouf and Alex Makhlouf, and Samuel Frisch.
The trio will appear on Chasing Summer Festival in Calgary, Canada on August 4, 2018. The festivala features Martin Garrix, DJ Snake, Dirt Monkey, Malaa, Kaskade and Black Tiger Sex…, among others.
