Troye Sivan Premieres New Song “Bloom”
Australian singer-songwriter Troye Sivan released a new song “Bloom” following "My My My" and "The Good Side".
The song is accompanied by a lyric video, created by 3D Artist Jason Ebeyer, who animated a character of Troye Sivan. It was written by Troye Sivan, Leland, Peter Svensson and Oscar Holter.
The track will appear on his sophomore album (yet-untitled), which is expected to be released in 2018.
Troye Sivan said of the song;
“It just ended up being a little bit ironic. It sounds like a commercial viable pop song – it’s very, very pop. It feels almost like a borderline bubblegum, a little bit. We had so much fun writing it. And then the lyrics – it’s one of the dirtiest songs on the album."- Last year, he joined in Joel Edgerton's film "Boy Erased", starring Lucas Hedges, Nicole Kidman, Russell Crowe and Joel Edgerton. The film is based on Garrard Conley's memoir, titled "Boy Erased: A Memoir". The film tells the story of a boy forced into a gay conversion therapy programme. Troye Sivan plays as Gary in the film.
The film is scheduled to be released by Focus Features on September 28, 2018.
Nicole Kidman said, “Troye is so talented. It was great to watch him get so lost in the character. Keith (Urban) and I are big fans of his – I didn’t want to tell him that on set.” -
