Maggie Lindemann Premieres New Music Video for “Obsessed”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Maggie Lindemann has unveiled a new music video for “Obsessed”, directed by Allie Avital.
The song was released last November and has already accumulated more than 20 million streams on Spotify. It was written by Ivy Adara, Sean C Meier, Jonas Jeberg and Maggie Lindemann.
“Shooting the ‘Obsessed’ video was such an amazing experience,” she said of the video. “From the people working on set to the home we filmed in, it all came together so nicely and the video came out exactly how I wanted it. The video feels like it’s really me, 100%, so I’m so excited for everyone to finally see it.”
After the song released, the 19-year-old singer already recorded two new songs, which will be premiered shortly. Also she joins in The Vamps' Night and Day Arena Tour. Last year she performed "Personal" as guest vocals on their third studio album "Night & Day".

"It’s about being with someone more physically than being with them emotionally. Then, you know, obviously it’s not as fun as always being a little obsessed with themselves and you’re not able to really connect with them on any other level than that. It’s not putting down being obsessed with yourself, because in the end it’s like, “I’m obsessed with myself too.” Just kind of talking about that and not being able to connect."
"We’ve all been with someone that is pretty self-absorbed or only cares about themselves or is obsessed with themselves. It was just to call them out, and, it’s not even necessarily in a bad way. At the end, I go, “Obsessed with myself, too.”" -
