Jason Derulo Premieres 2018 FIFA World Cup Official Song “Colors”
The Coca-Cola-sponsored, the 2018 FIFA World Cup kicks off in mid-June and will take place in Russia.
On March 9th, American singer-songwriter Jason Derulo unveiled the World Cup anthem titled “Colors”. The song was written by Jason Derulo, produced by Sermstyle and ISM.
To date, Ricky Martin (1998 France), Anastacia (2002 Japan), Il Divo (2006 Germany), Shakira (2010 South Africa) and Pitbull (2014 Brazil) have sung anthems of FIFA World Cup.
Ricardo Fort, vice president of Global Sports Partnerships at The Coca-Cola Company, said “We believe that music and soccer are intrinsically linked by the passions they evoke. We are excited to welcome Jason to the team, and can’t wait to bring this upbeat anthem to the world ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.”
Jason Derulo said of the song in a press statement;
