Sugarland Premieres New Song “Still The Same”
American country music duo Sugarland is back and released a new song "Still The Same". It is their first single in 6 years.
A couple weeks ago, the duo announced, “We said new music before the end of the year and we meant it! Thrilled to announce our new single #StillTheSame will be available December 21.”
In 2012, the duo, consisting of Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles, went on hiatus due in part to Nettles taking a maternity leave. During the hiatus, Jennifer Nettles recorded the albums "That Girl" and "Playing With Fire", as well as Kristian Bush issued the album "Southern Gravity" as solo projects.
At the 51st Annual Country Music Association Awards in 2017, Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles reunited to present the Vocal Duo of the Year award.
Sugarland's new song is part of a joint agreement with Big Machine Records and their longtime label home UMG Nashville, with more music in the works. The duo is currently scheduled to perform as part of Dick Clark’s New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2018 as well as Europe's C2C: Country 2 Country Festival in March.
