Liz Huett Premieres New Song “H8U”
Taylor Swift’s backing vocalist and Nashville-based singer-songwriter Liz Huett has released a new song “H8U”.
Track was written by Elizabeth Huett, Michelle Buzz, Zak Waters and Alex Reid. Produced by Pretty Sister.
The song is the follow-up to her debut song “STFU & Hold Me”.
About the new song, Liz Huett said;
“This song was such a fun one to create and I'm really proud of its honesty. Sometimes the truth ain't cute... but it's songs like this that made me want to make music in the first place. I hope people enjoy it!”-
- Liz Huett is knwon as a backing vocalist for Taylor Swift. She performed on Taylor Swift’s Fearless tour in 2009-2010. Also she was featured on Taylor Swift's third album “Speak Now”.
In 2015, she signed to Interscope Records and recorded a debut EP as Elizabeth Huett. But she did not release the EP.
She told Billboard about her feeling at that time, “A few years ago I recorded a batch of songs that I was intending to put out. Then my gut was telling me I wasn’t ready and if I scrapped what I had and went back to work, I might be able to get onto something that was a little more “me” and a little more “special.” I’m so glad I did. As much as I’m proud of the songs, I don’t feel like the music was ready yet. I don’t feel like it was”
