Rhys Premieres New Song “Too Good To Be True”
Swedish singer-songwriter Clarstedt Frank, aka Rhys has released a new song "Too Good To Be True" via digital music services.
The track was written by Clarstedt Frank, co-written by Max Martin and Jörgen Elofsson, who also produced along with Ugly Babies.
The song follows up "Last Dance" and is top-shelf pop with a powerful vocal and warm, layered production.
Last month, she performed at Stockholm Fashion Week and told Vogue about her music and fashion in an interview.
"I’ve never been to a fashion show. It’s all so glamorous in my head and I’m so intrigued by the whole business. It’s exciting to get a chance to see the fashion culture that I’ve been introduced to the past year.
My music is very bittersweet. My lyrics tend to be super sad, while the melodies are a little more up-tempo or happy; they clash in a good way, in my mind."-
- "For 16 years of my life, my hair was like a bird’s nest. All the girls in my class had straight blonde hair. I always felt kind of like an outsider, but I learned to accept my hair in high school when I found my hair product. I know that with my hair people take me less seriously if I wear a dress. My hair can either become cool, or it can become, like, super cute. Sigrid puts crazy things on me to test my boundaries. I think that Stockholm is super fashionable. I feel people are super aware of fashion and all the trends [and have a] hipster/fancy mix," she said.
