FTampa Premieres New Song “Light Me Up”
Brazilian DJ Felipe Augusto Ramos, aka FTampa has released a new song "Light Me Up". His newest sound has all the hallmarks of a crossover pop and dance anthem.
The song follows up his smash hits "Our Way" and "Love Is All We Need", which have already racked up over 25 million streams combined.
About the music for him, FTampa said;
"I've overcome all the bad times through music. It is a part of my life and it always will be. I'm always thinking of new ideas to try in the studio, I can't stop producing and the title of the track reflects the passion I have. It's a very different composition to my other records this year, and I love the final result. I hope others around the world will be dancing to it too."-
- FTampa debuted as Tampa with his first EP in 2011. His stage name is his nickname since childhood because of his short stature, but when he went to the US, another DJ already used the name, so he changed the name as FTampa.
Afterwards, he worked with some artists like Chris Brown and Paulo Ricardo, and led to invitations to international festivals like Burning Man and Rock in Rio Las Vegas.
On July 24, 2016, FTampa became the first Brazilian to perform at the main stage at Tomorrowland, the largest electronic music festival in the world, in Belgium. - source : Broadwayworld
