Zedd & Alessia Cara Premiere New Song “Stay”
Russian-German record producer Zedd teamed up with Canadian singer-songwriter Alessia Cara on a new song "Stay". The track was written by Anders Frøen, Alessia Cara, Anton Zaslavski, Linus Wiklund, Noonie Bao and Sarah Aarons. They released the lyric video for it on VEVO on February 23, 2017.
The song is the follow-up to "Ignite" and taken from his long awaited third album.
Recently, Zedd organised a benefit concert for the American Civil Liberties Union, which line up includes Daya, Halsey, Macklemore, Tinashe and Skrillex. The benefit was created in response to President Donald Trump's executive order indefinitely barring "Syrian refugees from entering the United States.
While, Alessia Cara performed on Saturday Night Live as the musical guest on February 4th.
About the song, Zedd said;
"Alessia and I first met at rehearsals for the HALO awards, where Alessia, Daya and I performed together. I’ve loved her songs before but realized that she’s an unbelievable talent when we started rehearsing together so I asked her if she was interested in making music with me."-
