AudioGust Releases New Song “Award Show”
Seattle-based singer-songwriter AudioGust will release his upcoming sophomore album “Here We Go Again” on May 30, 2025.
It is his first album in two years since the 2023 debut album “Walk With Me”.
From the album, he unveiled the second single called “Award Show” on April 29, 2025, following “Here We Go Again”.
The track is a catchy indie rock anthem for disenchanted optimists, narrated from the perspective of a barren artist riding on inertia.
It was written and produced by AudioGust.
AudioGust said of the song, “'Award Show' delves into the darker side of creative success, exposing the paralyzing grip of imposter syndrome. The song follows an artist who once thrived on inspiration but now finds himself creatively empty, yet still receiving accolades for past work."- The new album comprises 14 songs, featuring a guest appearance from Liliana Tani, produced by AudioGust. It is deeply personal and an ode to the highs and lows of creativity.
AudioGust said of the album, “This album is split into songs that describe the extremes of the fickle nature of inspiration and songs that have come to me in both of those places.” -
