  • Magnetic Skies Announces New Album “Fragments”, Shares New Song “A Place On Earth”

  • British darkwave/synth pop band Magnetic Skies, consisting of Simon Kent (vocals), Jo Womar (keyboards) and Lenin Alegria (drums), has announced their upcoming sophomore album “Fragments” will be released on November 7, 2025.

It is their first album in two years since the 2023 album “Empire Falling”.
The album comprises a 11-track, produced by Simon Kent and Rob Aubrey.
From the album, the ban has unveiled the first single called “A Place On Earth”.
The song finds the group in their element, awash with vintage synths and soaring melodies with every emotion in reach. The meticulously layered single is accompanied by a striking monochromatic video of the band performing against a white backdrop.
The track was written and produced by Simon Kent, with production by Rob Aubrey. The music video was filmed by Scott Chalmers.
  • The band frontman Simon Kent said of the song, “We wanted to create something sharp, urgent, and full of energy - taking inspiration from Bowie's "Fashion" but making it our own. It's a song about finding your place in a chaotic world.”

Magnetic Skies embarks on their headline UK tour in support of the album. The tour kicks off at The Victoria in Birmingham on November 5, 2025.
