Canaan Cox Releases New Song “Through the Fire”
Nashville-based country music singer-songwriter Canaan Cox released a new song “Through the Fire” on April 25, 2025.
The song is the third single of 2025, following “This Town's Yours” and “Stallin'”.
The track captures the raw emotion of enduring love, inspired by his own marriage and the devotion that defines it.
It was written by Canaan Cox, Mark Siegel, Autumn Marie Buysse, and Savannah Sanabia. Produced by Mark Siegel.
The accompanying music video was directed by Canaan Cox himself, featuring his wife Kimberly Jane.
Canaan Cox said of the song, “After we wrote 'Through the Fire,' I came home and played the demo for my wife. As it played over the speakers, I found myself bursting into tears; tears of pure joy and gratitude. In that moment, I was reminded of just how deeply blessed I am to have her by my side, walking through every challenge and every triumph together. This song holds a meaning in my heart that words could never fully capture.”- He said of the video, “How amazing is my wife y’all?!? Kimberly Jane and I choreographed this ourselves in our garage and backyard! such an amazing feeling to be able to have her in this dream of mine! She just so good! We got the cartwheel on the 3rd take thank GOD as my shoulder wasn’t having it from take 1.”
