Avery Lynch Releases New Song “Dead to Me”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Avery Lynch released her brand new single called “Dead to Me” on April 25, 2025.
The song will appear on her upcoming project, which is set to be released in September 2025.
She has released three songs “think about it”, “the boys who don't know what they want”, and “Rain” from the project, so far.
The track opens with wistful piano as she delivers lyrics that feel ripped straight from the pages of her diary, capturing the surreal feeling of losing someone who was once so close.
It was written by Avery Nichole Lynch, and Neisha Grace. Produced by Avery Lynch and Jordanlilvee.
The accompanying music video was directed by Gus Black.
Avery Lynch said of the song, “'Dead to Me' is about a very close relationship I had with someone that I don’t know anymore. It’s about missing that person but coming to terms with how the version of them that I knew no longer exists. There’s comfort in knowing we’ve both changed, but it’s also strange and surreal to reflect on.”- She shared on social media, “We are now officially halfway through a story I’ve been telling you since November. It’s a long one & a special one that will be complete as a project releasing in September :) there’s so much to come and I’m so glad you’re here to share it with. For now, I hope you love “Dead to Me” !! This song is a favorite of mine and I hope it will be yours too.”
