Bedolina Releases New Song “Dolphin (Swimming in a Sea of Love)”
Philadelphia-based indie rock band Bedolina, consisting of Ken Gould (vocals/guitar), Brian McTear (guitar), Matt Keppler (bass) and Michael Santa Cruz (drums), released the second single called “Dolphin (Swimming in a Sea of Love)” from their upcoming sophomore album “Sun and Flamingos” on April 25, 2025.
The album is set to be released on May 30, 2025.
The band record the song at Miner Street Recordings in Philadelphia.
The track was written by Ken Gould, and produced by Brian McTear and Amy Morrissey.
The band lead singer Ken Gould said of the song, “'Dolphin (Swimming in a Sea of Love)' dives into the concept of nostalgia as a subtle means of mind control- a constant reminder you’ll always want something that you once had (or thought you had).”- The new album is their first body of work in two years since the 2023 self-titled debut album. On the album, the band worked with producers Brian McTear and Amy Morrissey.
Throughout the album, themes of surrealism, the ever-lurking future, and modern contradictions are studied in depth, creating a palette of diverse and digestible tracks. - source : Apple Music
