Babé Sila Releases New Song “Forever (Bhebbak)”
London-based Hungarian singer-songwriter Babé Sila will release her upcoming EP “I Told The Sun About You” on June 20, 2025.
This marks her first EP in five years since the 2020 EP “Plum”.
From the EP, she released a new song “Forever (Bhebbak)” on April 25, 2025.
The song is the second single off of the EP, following “Summer Sings”.
The track captures the beauty and fragility of love holding the weight of whispered promises.
It was written and produced by Barbara Sarkozi, Cole Ostrin, Roman Hansen, and Victor Galés.
Babé Sila said of the song, “This melody appears across Arabic, Persian, Hebrew and Andalusian musical traditions. As someone with ties to parts of this heritage, in love with someone who shares parts of it too, I felt an instinctive pull towards it... It carries a legacy that has connected communities for generations-just as it connected us, despite our different backgrounds. It's a shared melody that could act as a reminder how music and culture can build bridges, bringing us back to the common human experiences we all share.”- She added, “I wrote this song from the edge of bliss and fear, it's like if my happiest moments and the fear of losing them ran full speed into each other...it's a galore of memories i made traveling with someone i loved, memories i wish i could press pause on and live inside...we didn't dream of forever the same way, so I tried to keep it alive the only way I knew how.”
