Gryffin & Excision Team Up for New Song “AIR” featuring Julia Michaels
American DJ Gryffin and Canadian DJ Excision teamed up to release a new song “AIR” on April 25, 2025.
Both DJs recruited American singer-songwriter
This marks the firs time Gryffin, Excision and Julia Michaels have worked together.
For Gryffin, the song is the follow-up to “In My Head” with American DJ Kaskade featuring London-based singer-songwriter Nu-La, which was released back in February.
Meanwhile Excision and Julia Michaels joined in the song as their first collaborative single of 2025.
The track was written by Ali Tamposi, Daniel Griffith, Jeffrey Abel, Julia Michaels, and Neave Applebaum. Produced by Excision, Gryffin, and Neave Applebaum.
They first performed the song at EDC Mexico in Mexico city in February 2025.- Gryffin and Excision said of the song, “Can't go another word without praising Julia for being one of the greats and trusting our vision through every step of this process. When we debuted it for the first time at EDC Mexico a few months ago, we'd never met in person and the energy was next level. Now the wait’s over and we’re so pumped to share it with you.
