Joe Jonas Releases New Song “Heart By Heart”
American pop rock band Jonas Brothers' member and singer-songwriter Joe Jonas released a new song “Heart By Heart” on April 25, 2025.
The song is the third single off of his upcoming second solo studio album “Music For People Who Believe In Love”, following “Work It Out” and “What This Could Be”.
The album is set to be released on May 23, 2025 via Republic Records.
Initially, the album was supposed to be released on October 18, 2024, but was pushed back due to ensure it felt complete.
At that time, Joe Jonas said, “The album is gonna come out later now because I'm flooded with inspo and want to add some final touches.”
Before the release of the song, he teamed up with Heineken for their new “Social Off Socials” campaign.
He first performed the song at Bleeker Street Bar for the campaign on April 24, 2025.
The track was written by Lewis Capaldi, Max Grahn, Oscar Holter, and Savan Kotecha. Produced by Oscar Holter, Fat Max Gsus, and Savan Kotecha.- Joe Jonas told Billboard about the song, “[“Heart By Heart”] was actually pitched to me [by] Savan Kotecha. He wrote it with Lewis Capaldi, and I just loved the messaging behind it. I really felt connected to it, so we did some tweaks, and I recorded it last year around the summer or fall. We held onto the song for a while. It felt like the song I really wanted to be the next single of my album, so I'm positioning it in a way where it speaks to where I'm at in my life and the emotional side of where I'm at.”
He continued, “[The song] took a few takes, but ultimately, when you connect with anything, it falls together quite quickly. For me, I thought it was pretty natural to get into the song emotionally.
