Clean Bandit Teams Up with Tiësto & Leony for New Song “Tell Me Where U Go”
British electronic music trio Clean Bandit, consisting of Grace Chatto (cello), Jack Patterson (keyboards) and Luke Patterson (drums), joined forces with Dutch DJ Tiësto and German singer-songwriter Leony to release a new song “Tell Me Where U Go” on April 25, 2025.
This marks the first time Clean Bandit, Tiësto and Leony have worked together. While Clean Bandit made a remix of Tiësto and Ty Dolla $ign's 2021 single “The Business Part II”.
Clean Bandit first performed the song with Tiësto at Ultra Music Festival in Miami back in March.
The track was written after a therapy session the band's Jack Patterson had inspired the title.
It was written by Cleo Tighe, Grace Chatto, Jack Patterson, Jake Torrey, Jason Gill, Leonie Burger, and Tijs Verwest. Produced by Tiësto, Jack Patterson, and Jason Gill.- Jack Patterson said of the song, “My therapist said I dissociate sometimes. She said to me, 'tell me where you go.' After the session I went to the studio, and we made this song. I wrote it with my new best friend Jason Gill and lyrical geniuses Cleo Tighe and Jake Torrey.”
Grace Chatto added, “'Tell Me Where U Go' is our new genre. It's called Classical Djembe Trance. We recorded our dear friend Leony in Berlin and finally collaborated with our guy Tiësto.” -
