Alison Wonderland Premieres New Song “Get Started” on ABC triple j
Australian DJ Alison Wonderland premiered a new song “Get Started” on ABC triple j Home and Hosed with Ash McGregor.
The song will appear on her upcoming fourth studio album, which is set to be released this fall.
A press release described the song as “a masterclass in tension and release featuring dizzying vocals layered over crushing synths and kick drums.”
She recorded the track in Los Angeles and co-wrote it with Dylan Ragland and Kella Armitage, and co-produced it with Ragland.
The accompanying music video was directed by Connor Pritchard.
The new album is her first body of work in three years since the 2022 album “Loner”.
Alison Wonderland told Ash McGregor about the album, “I honestly feel like, there's things come in waves, and sometimes you feel that way, but when you're catching a really good wave, and if you understand that things come in waves, then you can find joy still. And I'm seriously having so much fun in the studio at the moment.”- Recently, Alison Wonderland joined in American DJ Skrillex's new album “Fuck U Skrillex You Think Ur Andy Warhol but Ur Not!!”, which was released on April 1, 2025.
She said, “I think everything, as I said before, everything comes in waves. And I just know it's the time, Skrillex just released. Now there's a lot of half time trap bass, actually wrote on one of the tracks on the album. It's called Druids. It's he did a collab with G Jones, which I'm a writer on. So that was really cool to see. So happy about that. And then, it's just like, people like ISOxo, like, a bunch of people are just killing it and so excited. A lot of other artists that are necessarily in the electronic genre are also like doing more trap beats which I'm so excited about.” - source : ABC triple j
