Addison Rae Releases New Song “Headphones On”
American singer-songwriter Addison Rae released a new song “Headphones On” along with a music video on April 18, 2025.
The song is the follow-up to “High Fashion”, which was released back in February.
Both songs will appear on her upcoming debut album, which is set to be released on June 6, 2025. She announced the release date for the debut album at the Coachella Festival, where she performed “Arcamarine / Aquamarine” with Barcelona-based producer Arca.
The debut album is the first release under her new label Columbia Records and also features her two previous singles “Diet Pepsi” and “Aquamarine”.
The music video was directed by Mitch Ryan, who filmed in Reykjavik, Iceland, as with the previous video for “High Fashion”.
Addison Rae co-wrote the song with producers Elvira Anderfjärd and Luka Kloser, who also produced the previous song.
On the track, she sings about escaping into music to escape the troubles in her life, including her parents' divorce.- Addison Rae said of the song, “This song is deeply connected to me in so many ways. Writing it was healing, emotional, and extremely spiritual. Every good thing comes my way. Because I choose to be good. Love 2 my girls Luka Kloser and Elvira Anderfjärd for always making the safest space to channel and create magic!!”
