Phoneboy Releases New Song “Talking to Heads”
New Jersey-based indie rock band Phoneboy, consisting of Jordan Torres (vocals/keyboards), Wyn Barnum (vocals/guitar), Ricky Dana (vocals/guitar) and James Fusco (bass), will release their upcoming third studio album “Heartbreak Designer” on April 25, 2025.
The album is their first body of work in two years since the 2023 album “Moving Out” and comprises 11 songs.
It explores love, loss, and self-discovery, blending their signature infectious energy with a more refined, introspective sound.
From the album, the band released the fourth single called “Talking to Heads” on April 10, 2025.
The track was written by James Fusco, Jordan Torres, Richard Dana, and Wyn Barnum. Produced by Ayad Al Adhamy.
The accompanying music video was filmed by Phoneboy, Jack Hemhauser, and Tommy Cosimano. Edited by Ricky Dana.
The band said of the song, “’Talking to Heads’ is about coming to terms with the fact that the person you’re with loves somebody else. It’s the kind of song that hits just as hard at the party as it does on the drive home. Our favorite tracks are the ones that manage to fit heartbreak into the catchiest, most upbeat scenery, and we did our best to make that happen here.”- source : Apple Music
