  • 5 Seconds of Summer's Calum Hood Announces Debut Solo Album “ORDER chaos ORDER”, Shares Debut Song “Don't Forget You Love Me”

  • Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer's bassist Calum Hood has announced his upcoming debut solo album “ORDER chaos ORDER” will be released June 13, 2025 via Island EMI.

From the album, he released the first single called “Don't Forget You Love Me” on April 10, 2025.
The track was written by Ben Kohn, Calum Hood, Jack Lafrantz, Peter Kelleher, and Tom Barnes. Produced by TMS. The accompanying music video was directed by Andy DeLuca.
With this announcement, Calum Hood becomes the final member of 5 Seconds of Summer to debut as a solo artist.
To date, guitarist Michael Clifford has released his debut solo single “cool” from his upcoming debut solo album “Sidequest”; drummer Ashton Irwin has released two solo albums “Superbloom” and “BLOOD ON THE DRUMS”; and frontman Luke Hemmings has released his solo album “When Facing the Things We Turn Away From”.
The album comprises a 10-track and features Day Wave's Jackson Phillips, David Burris, and TMS
  • Calum Hood said of the album, “This album was made in a tumble dryer of knowing and not knowing. I started out with a vision - order - but quickly became overwhelmed by the process - chaos. Eventually, I learned to embrace both, and that balance became the heart of the record.”

He continued, “There are things I've never been able to sing about in the band - my upbringing, my family, the places life has taken me. This album is about laying those things to rest and allowing listeners to connect in their own way.”

  • He shared on social media, “Diving into this project has been a liberating, healing, painful, enlightening experience. It's been a journey into parts of myself I didn't even know I hadn't explored until they became this music, and I'm excited to open up this part of me to you. Welcome to my world, I hope you stay a little while. There's a lot more to come these next months.”
