Lime Cordiale & Ruel Team Up for New Song “Melodramatic Fanatic”
Australian pop-rock duo Lime Cordiale, consisting of Louis Leimbach (vocals/bass) and Oli Leimbach (vocals/guitar), joined forces with Los Angeles-based Australian singer-songwriter Ruel to release a new song “Melodramatic Fanatic” on April 10, 2025.
This marks the first collaboration between Lime Cordiale and Ruel.
For Lime Cordiale, the song is the first music since the third studio album “Enough of the Sweet Talk”, which was released last July.
Meanwhile, Ruel joined in the song as the second collaborative single of 2025, following the release of “Dandelion” with grentperez in January.
The track was written by Louis Leimbach, Oliver Leimbach, Ruel Vincent Van Dijk, and Dave Hammer, who also produced it.- Lime Cordiale said of the song, “We wrote a song with Ruel some time ago and even though we've performed it twice, we only just got our shiza together and recorded it. We've been holding on to for too long!! We wrote this song about being obsessed over someone who ran over their ex with a limousine.”
