Palo Canto Releases New Song “Closer to the Sun” featuring Nóvé Soma
Budapest-based producer duo Palo Canto, consisting of Bertalan Toth and Peter Kedves, teamed up with Hungarian singer-songwriter and guitarist Nóvé Soma to release a new song “Closer to the Sun” on April 4, 2025.
This marks the second collaboration between Palo Canto and Nóvé Soma, who co-wrote the second track “Run” on their debut album.
The song is their first music since the debut album “Before Sunrise”, which was released last October.
Also, the song will appear on their upcoming sophomore album.
It was written by Bertalan Tóth, Peter Kedves, and Soma Nove. Produced by Palo Canto.
The accompanying music video was directed by Marci Nyitrai, who filmed it in Fuerteventura.- “After releasing our first album, we started working on new ideas almost immediately. Since October, we’ve laid the foundation for our second album, and we’ll be sharing several of these new tracks during our upcoming concerts. Visual storytelling is very important to us, so when Closer to the Sun was finished, we knew it deserved a video that would intensify its mood. That’s how we ended up spending two days on the Canary Islands with a fantastic crew-resulting in this new music video.”
