  • Bruce Springsteen Announces “Tracks II: The Lost Albums”, Shares New Song “Rain in the River”

  • American singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen has announced his new collection “Tracks II: The Lost Albums” will be released on June 27, 2025 via Sony Music.

The collection is a sequel to the 1998 four-disc box set “Tracks” and features seven new studio albums titled “LA Garage Sessions '83”, “Streets of Philadelphia Sessions”, “Faithless”, “Somewhere North of Nashville”, “Inyo”, “Twilight Hours”, and “Perfect World”, comprising unreleased material dating from 1983 to 2018, with a total of 83 songs, including 74 that have never been released before..
Additionally, a twenty-song companion album “Lost and Found: Selections from The Lost Albums”, will be released on June 27, 2025.
The collection offers unprecedented context into 35 prolific years (1983-2018) of Bruce Springsteen's songwriting and home recording.

Bruce Springsteen said of the collection, “The Lost Albums were full records, some of them even to the point of being mixed and not released. I've played this music to myself and often close friends for years now... The ability to record at home whenever I wanted allowed me to go into a wide variety of different musical directions.”
  • From the collection, he released a new song “Rain in the River” on April 3, 2025.
The song comes from the lost album “Perfect World”, and encapsulates that project's arena-ready E Street flavor.
It was written and produced by Bruce Springsteen, with production by Ron Aniello.

Bruce Springsteen said of “Perfect World”, “The one thing on this that wasn't initially conceived as an album.”
