Ariana Grande Releases New Short Film “brighter days ahead”
American singer-songwriter Ariana Grande released a new short film “brighter days ahead” on March 28, 2025.
The film was released along with the deluxe edition of her seventh studio album “eternal sunshine” called “eternal sunshine deluxe: brighter days ahead”.
The deluxe edition comprises 19 songs, including the original 13 songs, 5 new songs and one extended.
The film explores love, loss, growth and the fleeting nature of memory.
The film was written and directed by Ariana Grande and Christian Breslauer. Ariana Grande was inspired by the 2004 film “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” directed by Michel Gondry, starring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet.
In the film, it revisits Peaches, a character portrayed by Ariana Grande originally in her music video for “we can’t be friends (wait for your love).”
This takes place seventy years after her initial introduction. She returns to Brighter Days Inc. to have advanced memory restoration, allowing her to relive four of her most valuable memories for the final time. But each relived memory is permanently erased.
