ICEBERG Returns with New Song “Snowstorm”
New York-based singer-songwriter ICEBERG returned with a new song “Snowstorm” on March 28, 2025.
The song is her first music in two years since the 2023 album “Swim” and will appear on her upcoming album.
The track was crafted in her pinewood studio on Lake Champlain in upstate New York during a blizzard while she was snowed in.
The song reflects an alternate life that almost was. She relocated from London to New York with her partner. The track explores what could have happened if they had parted ways before the move.
It was written by Charlotte Anne Herzenberg and GLASSNOTEPRODUCTIONSLTD. Produced by ICEBERG and Mintsauce.
The accompanying music video was directed Owen Pataki, who filmed in the Adirondack Mountains and New York City.
ICEBERG said of the song, “I wrote and recorded this song in my little studio in the woods during a blizzard. Snowstorm captures an alternate life that almost was.”- She continued, “'Snowstorm' is the only song on the record that is less autobiographical. It's autobiographical, but it's basically two parallel lives that could have happened. I used to live in London and when my partner and I were coming back to the US. It's sort of the version of us, if we didn't make it. if we weren't together anymore. I produced it in my studio, glassnote studio in the middle of the Adirondack Mountains and wrote it on my own. And then at the end I had a very good friend he goes by Mintsauce is his producer name, he helped me finish production and has like a million layers of guitar and I'm really proud of it and I think it sounds great. It's like a good starting song for the album. Because I think it captures the sound very well for the whole record.”
