Beach Weather Releases New Version of “Hardcore Romance” featuring Ari Abdul
American alt-rock band Beach Weather, consisting of Nick Santino (vocals/rhythm guitar), Reeve Powers (bass) and Sean Silverman (lead guitar), has announce the deluxe edition of their sophomore album “Melt” called “Melt'd (Deluxe)” will be released on May 30, 2025 via Arista Records.
The sophomore album was released last October and comprises 12 songs, featuring a guest appearance from BEL.
The band frontman Nick Santino said of the album, “Melt is a deep dive into the human condition. When I was younger, my songs were about imaginary relationships, fictional people, and borrowed emotions. Creating Melt brought real tears-a testament to change, resilience, and personal growth. This record isn't just about our personal stories; it's about emotions we all feel but don't always speak out loud.”
From the deluxe edition, the band released a new version of “Hardcore Romance” along with a music video on March 28, 2025.
On the track, the band recruited American singer-songwriter Ari Abdul.
This marks the first collaboration between Beach Weather and Ari Abdul.
The track was written by Alex Silverman, Nick Santino, Reeve Powers, and Sean Silverman. Produced by Nick Santino, Sean Silverman, and Alex Silverman.- The band guitarist Sean Silverman said of the song, “[The song explores what] modern romance would look like to us, now at the point we're at in our lives. 'Hardcore Romance' was the first demo that Nick and I got to make in person. Right away, it felt like we had tapped into something we'd never fully done before, which was exciting but also came with a lot of self-doubt. It's even there in the opening lyrics of the song, 'I don't wanna come back down to Earth, I don't really feel like myself.' I think whenever we get to that place where something feels challenging sonically/emotionally, it's a good thing. The best we can do is try to not run away from that feeling, and confront it.”
