  • Linkin Park Releases New Song “Up From The Bottom”

  • American rock band Linkin Park, consisting of Mike Shinoda (vocals/keyboards), Brad Delson (lead guitar), Joe Hahn (synthesizers), Dave Farrell (bass), Emily Armstrong (lead vocals) and Colin Brittain (drums), released a new song “Up From The Bottom” on March 27, 2025.

The song will appear on their upcoming deluxe edition of the eighth studio album “From Zero”, which is set to be released on May 16, 2025.
The track was written by Linkin Park and produced by Mike Shinoda.
The accompanying music video was directed by Joe Hahn.

Mike Shinoda said of the song, “In between tours, the band got together at my studio. As we listened to demos, everyone kinda agreed we didn’t have the song we needed. As we talked, I scribbled notes. When everyone went home, I started piecing things together at the piano. For days, I obsessively pulled at threads of unclear ideas, until a special one began to reveal itself. One of the most satisfying things I get to experience is the moment when I play a new song for my band-knowing it’s unfinished, but confident it’s going to be special. A huge thank you to my bandmates for their ideas, inspiration, and stellar performances on this one-and to Joe Hahn for yet another insane video.”
  • The deluxe edition comprises 19 songs, including the original 11 songs, three new songs “Up from the Bottom”, “Unshatter”, and “Let You Fade”, as well as five live tracks “The Emptiness Machine”, “Heavy Is the Crown”, “Over Each Other”, “Casualty”, and “Two Faced”.

The band said of the deluxe edition, “The physical release of the From Zero (Deluxe Edition) showcases three new songs, five live tracks recorded around the world and all new, expanded packaging. 'Up From the Bottom' was created in between tours this year, infused with the electricity of those first shows back after a long hiatus. 'Let You Fade' was a song that began during the From Zero sessions but found its final shape in sessions after the album's release. 'Unshatter' was an early track we made while recording From Zero; Emily's huge vocal in the bridge was one of the moments that gave us an indication of what was possible together. We are so grateful for the incredible reception to From Zero. This new chapter, our continuing journey, and the connection between the band and fans has been more than we could've hoped for. Thank you for listening.”
