Wads Releases New Song “beast”
Copenhagen-based singer-songwriter Wads, who known as Danish R&B band Phlake's vocalist Mads Bo, released a new song “beast” on March 21, 2025.
The song is the second single off of his upcoming debut solo album, which is expected to be released in 2025.
He confronts a feeling of alienation from society on the track and even twists the song's theme with pitched alien-like vocals, colorful, edgy and unapologetically sound.
The track was written by Awinbeh Ayagiba, Gisli Gislason, and Mads Bo Iversen. Produced by Awinbeh.
Wads said of the song, “I've always been a beast at walking slow, a beast at overthinking, and a beast at trying to fit in with my surroundings. To be honest, all my quirks have probably been a way to hide and disguise myself as a 'real' person. Often, I have the experience that people around me perceive what I say as nonsense. It has become a constant in my life.
