Pip Lewis Releases New Song “Baby Teeth”
San Diego-based British singer-songwriter Pip Lewis released a brand new song “Baby Teeth” on March 21, 2025.
The song is the third single off of her upcoming sophomore album “Growing Pains”, following “Dead Ringer” and “Safe & Sound”.
The album is set to be released on June 13, 2025. It is her first album in four years since the 2021 album “Human Nature”.
The track explores the bittersweet nature of loss and the struggle between holding on and letting go.
It was written by Pip Lewis and produced by Mylo Bard as with the previous songs.
Pip Lewis said of the song, “The imagery in 'Baby Teeth' is all about things that are once important but become neglected over time: a sweet melting and hardening in a car door, a dog-eared book never finished, a takeaway receipt kept for no real reason.”- She continued, “The chorus, with the tooth metaphor, is especially striking. Losing a baby tooth is inevitable, a sign of growing up, but there’s also a choice in how it happens—rip it out quickly or let it fall out slowly. It plays with the idea that the narrator knows that they’re being left behind but is unsure if they should just end it or let the loss drag on. It explores the question as to whether it is more uncomfortable to let go willingly or to suffer until the bitter end?”

The new album comprises 11 songs, produced by Mylo Bard, capturing the raw emotions of change and self-discovery.
Pip Lewis said of the album, “After such a long hiatus, it’s only fair that I share some of my best songs yet. It features eleven new tracks that are all very close to my heart. Produced by the outstanding Mylo Bard.”
