SYML Releases New Song “The White Light of the Morning”
Seattle-based singer-songwriter SYML released the fifth single called “The White Light of the Morning” from his upcoming third studio album “Nobody Lives Here” on March 21, 2025.
The song is the final pre-release single ahead of the album, which is set to be released on April 4, 2025.
The track was born out of grief following the death of his father and is one of his most personal reflections.
It was written by and produced by Brian Fennell, with production by Brian Eichelberger.
“This song holds the spirit of Nobody Lives Here and it's the last one to share with you before the album is released in 2 weeks,” SYML said of the song. “For months after my dad passed away, I would have these dreams where I am with him in this bright and peaceful place. The saddest part was that, in my dream, he didn’t know he had died. It felt profound and helpless.”- The new album comprises 11 songs, produced by Brian Eichelberger and Brian Fennell, and marks his clearest and crispest writing to date. It is fueled by the keen understanding that life is a contradiction, a fleeting moment.
SYML said of the album, “If the dark inspires the good, that’s a good thing to be honest about. All of these characters inside of me are fascinated by the same thing, which is: Why are humans even here and what is this ever-expanding universe that we’re floating through?” - source : Apple Music
