Theo Croker Announces New Album “Dream Manifest”, Shares New Song “high vibrations” featuring Malaya & D'LEAU
American jazz trumpeter Theo Croker has announced his eighth studio album “Dream Manifest” will be released on June 13, 2025 via Dom Recs.
It is his first album in three years since the 2022 album “LOVE QUANTUM”.
From the album, he released the first single called “high vibrations” on March 19, 2025.
On the track, he worked with American singer-songwriter Malaya and American music producer D'LEAU, fusing house-inspired production with sleek trumpet.
It was written by D'LEAU, Malaya, and Theo Croker. Produced by Theo Croker and D'LEAU.
The accompanying music video was directed by Pedro Rettore, who filmed it in São Paulo, Brazil.
Theo Croker said of the song, “Cooked up a jazzydance banger with D'LEAU ft. Malaya titled: 'High Vibrations'. Had a lot of fun writing this in sessions from London to Brooklyn to Los Angeles. Filmed a music video in an abandoned cement factory outside of São Paulo, Brazil. Excited to finally be sharing this new music with you all.”- The new album comprises 9 songs, featuring collaborations with Estelle, Kassa Overall, Tyreek McDole, MAAD, Gary Bartz, Natureboy Flako, Malaya, and D’LEAU. Also, he has worked with the Berlin Philharmonic on the album.
Cooked up told Los Angeles Times about the album, “This album is a fantasy album. I’m manifesting my dreams. It’s like you’re reading my dream journal. This is me putting myself inside of a fantasy and really trying to let go of any type of boundaries or borders that constrict my creativity.” -
He continued, “I’m always battling the ego as any true creative is doing. Not the ego in the sense of, ‘I think I’m great.’ More the sense of, ‘I don’t need to go along with everybody else. I don’t need to make music the way everybody else does. I’m not making music to be popular. I’m not making music to fit a playlist. I’m not making music to make the label happy.”
