  • Aitch Premieres New Song “BOUNCE” on BBC Radio 1

  • British rapper Aitch premiered a new song “BOUNCE” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.

The song follows “Raving In The Studio” with Bou, “A Guy Called?” and “Straight Rhymez 2”.
it was written by Harrison Armstrong, James Murray, and Mustafa Omer. Produced by Mojam.

Aitch told Jack Saunders about the song, “It's a slammer. Had to be. I mean, I've been charged up for a little bit I mean, so I just had to let it all go. Actually, not at all. It was more so. I'm included in that. I had to sort myself out as well. I mean, it was one of them. Just wanted to bring something back a little bit and do something a little bit different. I kind of just, I've dropped my guard a little bit and not gone, so...I don't know what the word is I'm saying. I'll say I'm more careless with it, but in a good way.”
  • He continued, “I think everyone has been trying to put a finger on it for time. And is not actually a correct answer. I mean, it's like everyone's been waiting for everyone else to do something first. And I'm kind of like border waiting now. So I'm just trying to drop. Obviously, we could talk about it for hours about, like, why and what and where, whoa, all that. But I don't know at the end of the day, I think people just need to bring it back to the actual art of it and making actual music, instead of 5000 other moments before the actual tune.”

  • Out of the music scene, Aitch has recently completed a climb of Mount Kilimanjaro to raise awareness for Down syndrome. The campaign had a fundraising target of £70,000 but has now raised over £150,000, with all profits going to the Down's Syndrome Association.

Aitch said, “That was for the Down's Syndrome Association. That was to raise awareness for Down syndrome because that's something close to my heart. Personally, that's where I discovered it in the first place. But then I feel like, just more people need to know, and it needs to be more of an acceptance thing. I won't even say like, and more something that people not need to be scared of. I always say this example, like, if people are ever having a kid and they find out the kids got Down syndrome, people don't need to think it's the end of the world. You actually should be buzzing like, trust me, I'm living proof. Like, I would not change nothing for the world. So that was the main reason to get that point across.”
