ZAZ Releases Two New Songs “Je pardonne” & “Sains et saufs”
French singer-songwriter ZAZ has announced that she will be the new coach for season 14 of France's version of The Voice.
Along with the announcement, she released two new songs “Je pardonne” and “Sains et saufs” on March 18, 2025.
Two songs will appear on her upcoming sixth studio album (yet untitled), which is set to be released this fall.
“Je pardonne” is accompanied by the Laurent Humbert-directed music video.
It was written by Noé Preszow and produced by Ambroise Willaume.
Meanwhile, “Sains et saufs” was written by Jean-Etienne Maillard, Laurent Lamarca, and Zaz. Produced by Romain Descampe, Egil Franzen, and Jet.
ZAZ said, “I'm so happy to announce the release of two new tracks today! I wanted to do things in a big way... The music video for 'Je pardonne" is now available on my YouTube channel. I'm so proud of it!!!!”- The new album is her first LP in four years since the 2021 album Isa.
ZAZ said of the album, “I found a musical family. It's been a long time since I had so much fun making an album! The theme of my albums is always the same. It's the search to be as free as possible, to be able to learn to love myself and to get rid of everything that encumbers me. It's also to trust myself and get to know myself better. On this album, I find that I open up even more, I'm less afraid.” -
ZAZ said of the coach for The Voice, “I didn't feel in my place doing that, but those around me advised me to meet the teams. I told myself that I had nothing to lose and, in addition, I love reaching out to people. I wasn't very keen on the idea of doing a program with so much visibility. I told myself that I would be able to help the talents. I liked that aspect. I have a psychological side, I like to read through people. I can help candidates free themselves and enhance their self-esteem. I took it as a playground, while being terrified of being seen.” - source : Apple Music
