Louane Releases New Song “maman” for Eurovision 2025
French singer-songwriter Louane released a new song “maman” to represent France at the Eurovision 2025 on March 15, 2025.
She premiered the song as a special half-time event during France’s final match of the Six Nations Rugby Tournament at the Stade de France.
On the track, Luann tells, in simple yet moving words, her life journey: that of a child who became a woman, and of a daughter who became a mother.
The track is a timeless declaration of love, a suspended dialogue between past and present, between absence and transmission.
It was written by Louane, and Tristan Salvati who also produced the track.
Louane said of the song, “'maman', my song for l’Eurovision 2025, is finally available everywhere! This track is so special and I hope you love it as much as I do. Thank you for your amazing support... can’t wait for the rest!”- Alexandra Redde-Amiel, Director of Entertainment and Games at France Télévisions and head of the French Eurovision delegation, said, “Maman! A song that touches the heart! Revealed in a magical place between heaven and earth! The Stade de France. Timeless, it stands the test of time. With maman, Louane gives us much more than a powerful, inspiring song: she reveals a part of herself, without artifice, without superfluity. It’s a hymn, a declaration of love to life, to the passing of time and to the most universal and powerful figure in the world: a mother! She chose to open her heart without restraint, with authenticity and generosity, to reach out to European families. How proud we are to bring such a special song to the international stage with such a genuine artist.”
