  • Bon Iver Releases Two New Songs “If Only I Could Wait” featuring Danielle Haim & “Walk Home”

  • American indie folk band Bon Iver, consisting of Justin Vernon (vocals/synths/guitar), Sean Carey (drums), Matthew McCaughan (drums), Mike Lewis (vocals/bass), Andrew Fitzpatrick (guitar) and Jenn Wasner (guitar), released two new songs “If Only I Could Wait” amd “Walk Home” on March 14, 2025, the former of which features Los Angeles-based pop rock band HAIM's Danielle Haim.

Two songs will appear on their upcoming fifth studio album “SABLE, fABLE”, which is set to be released on April 11, 2025.
“If Only I Could Wait” was written by Danielle Haim, James Stack, and Justin Vernon.
“Walk Home” was written by Eli Teplin, James Stack, Justin Vernon, and Michael Lewis.
Both of songs were produced by Justin Vernon and Jim-E Stack.

The band frontman Justin Vernon said of two songs, “For the second look into fABLE, it couldn't be a single; it had to be a double. First, 'Walk Home' is a romp where you can't wait to pull your clothes off fast enough and jump inside bed with your one true lover. And then - the two of singles - 'If Only I Could Wait.' A duet. A bilateral crying question. How long can the two of us hang on to each other?”
  • The new album comprises 13 songs, including the 4-track EP “SABLE,” released last October, featuring guest appearances from Dijon, Flock of Dimes and Danielle Haim.
The band recorded the album at Justin Vernon's April Base studio in Wisconsin with co-producer Jim-E Stack.
The conceptual genesis for the album occurred in early February 2022, when James Stack arrived at the April Base studio with Danielle Haim.
