NoVanGogh Returns with New Song “You're Right There”
Los Angeles-based music production duo NoVanGogh, consisting of Doug Sparks (producer) and Chris Hastings (producer), has returned with a new song “You're Right There”.
The song is their first music in three years since the 2022 song “Ghosts Inside Our Heads”.
It was written by Douglas Edward Sparks and Robin Goodchild. Produced by NoVanGogh.
The track features Robin Goodchild on vocals/guitar, Lydia Salnikova on vocals, Brant Cole on drums, Andrew Gold on piano and Melanie Bomar on percussion.
Doug Sparks said of the song, “You're Right There is a throwback the more joyful songs people may have heard in the 70s or even in the 90s. We choose to have the song performed as a duet between Robin and Lydia, ultimately creating a more intimate vibe."- The song is accompanied by an animated Van Gogh-inspired video, directed by Chris Hastings and Doug Sparks.
Doug Sparks said of the video, "We wanted to make a video that blend the 'NoVanGogh' theme with the subject behind the song. We have Van Gogh playing guitar and as part of a romantic couple. And modern day couples. We feel this video expresses the story of the song and the NoVanGogh concept". -
