James Arthur Releases New Song “KARAOKE”
British singer-songwriter James Arthur will release his upcoming sixth studio album “PISCES” on March 21, 2025.
From the album, he released “KARAOKE” on March 7, 2025.
The song is the fourth single off of the album, following “ADHD”, “Celebrate”, and “Embers”.
It was written by George Tizzard, James Arthur, Niamh Murphy, and Rick Parkhouse. Produced by Steven Solomon.
The track is about deep, passionate, all-consuming love. James Arthur sings, “Baby I'm going oJ the deep end coz when you told me he was screaming, you were crying heavy / breathing, I just can't sleep, I can't unsee it, want you to know you weren't the reason / I want your sweet / I want your sour / I want what they've never seen / I want your drunken karaoke / Want you singing 'Jolene' / Then we'll carve our names in the bathroom stall / And if it ain't that kinda love, then I don't want it at all.”- The new album comprises 12 songs and is his most personal to date, produced by Steven Solomon. The album title connects directly to his own astrological sign.
James Arthur said of the album, “The reins are off. I really feel all of these songs are part of me, and they make the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I wanted to make music that makes people feel something and give fans an insight into who I really am - the ups and downs, the dreams and reality of being a Pisces.
