Gable Bradley & Brooke Lee Team Up for New Song “Silk and Sandpaper”
Nashville-based country music singer-songwriters Gable Bradley and Brooke Lee teamed up to release a new song “Silk and Sandpaper” on March 7, 2025.
This marks the first collaboration between Gable Bradley and Brooke Lee. It is their first feature duet of their budding careers.
The pair started as a simple writing session three months ago and recorded the track at the top of the year.
It was written by Brooke Lee, Gable Bradley, and Mike Fiorentino. Produced by Derek Wells and Mike Fiorentino.
Gable Bradley said of the song, “I've known Brooke and been a fan forever...we feel like we're living the same chase and run in the same circles - just two dreamers chasing this thing. When Mikey (Fiorentino), Brooke and I got in the room to write, I wasn't sure where the day would take us but I could tell right away Brooke had an agenda that we were there to write a duet for us. We definitely captured the magic.”
He added, “Always felt like me and Brooke Lee were cut from the same gypsy cloth..you know a songs special when you can feel the electricity in the writing room. Lucky to land on this one with her and my brother Mike Fiorentino.”- Brooke Lee said, “'Silk And Sandpaper' is about being drawn back into a relationship that isn't what you hoped it would be. It's about two crazy foolish lovers who lie to themselves because they can't live without one another. It depicts the action of picking the devil you know over the one you don't. What's one more night going to do?”
She added, Since meeting Gable, I've always felt like we've had a similar vibe. I knew I wanted to get a duet together that would capture our free spirits and wild souls. He brought the idea of “Silk and Sandpaper” and it turned into one of the most special days. -
